Hi! If you’re here, than you somehow heard about our new podcast, Artifactor. It’s a collaboration between myself – Darrell Etherington – and my longtime friend and former colleague Greg Kumparak.

We worked together for quite a while at TechCrunch, where I did some of the best work of my life, and where I made lasting friendships with some of the best and smartest people, including Greg. For over 10 years I wrote about technology on TechCrunch (and GigaOM before that), tracking the trajectory of the industry from the early days of the web, through the shift to mobile, to literal outer space and now to the AI era.

Over the years, me and Greg have never stopped thinking and talking about technology, and so we decided to make those conversations and that thinking public with Artifactor. We’re also planning on bringing you additional articles, interviews, stories and sound bites, on top of our regular weekly episodes, and all of that will be housed here – on our Artifactor newsletter and website.

Meanwhile, I’ll still be doing The Angle, so head there for more long-form opinion pieces, and columns focused primarily on the future of AI and how it impacts product design, development and use. Artifactor will be much more of a grab-bag – kind of like old-school TechCrunch – and deliver a more comprehensive overview of the tech industry and its impact.
